Villa cleaning costs on the French Riviera: what to include in a quote
A useful villa-cleaning quote depends on the actual scope, condition, materials, access and deadline. Floor area alone cannot price routine care, a seasonal opening and a post-renovation clean on equal terms.
Describe the property and the visit
Send the town, approximate internal floor area, number of floors and bathrooms, intended arrival date and photographs. Separate the areas in use from closed rooms. Mention fragile materials, access instructions, parking and any work still taking place.
Compare the same scope
Check whether accessible windows, terraces, kitchen interiors, upholstery, linen and consumables are included. A recurring maintenance visit differs from deep cleaning after prolonged closure. Stains, residue removal and specialist surface treatments need separate assessment; a low headline rate does not define the completed work.
Agree access and handover
Identify the person releasing the keys, available utilities and any other contractors working on site. Confirm which areas must be ready first and how completion will be checked. Cleaning does not repair scratched stone, damaged joints or worn fabrics.
